Gibson Les Paul Dark Fire

Gibson Les Paul Dark Fire Electric Guitar

Gibson Les Paul Dark Fire Electric Guitar

Combines upgraded Les Paul form with computer age functionality.

Analog or digital, the Gibson Dark Fire Electric Guitar gives you an infinite number of tonal possibilities to let you change the tone of the Dark Fire to match your environment. And it begins with a guitar's most basic element—the pickups. The Gibson Dark Fire combines two of Gibson's most popular pickups—the P-90H in the neck position and a BurstBucker 3 in the bridge position. Both are capped with carbon fiber-like pickup covers, impeccably designed to match the Dark Fire's advanced fade. Acoustic Capability.
The Dark Fire also gives you the ability to adjust and blend the acoustic sound from the piezo bridge pickup with the sound from the guitar's traditional pickups. It does this by utilizing a revolutionary rotary potentiometer which is part of the pickup selector toggle switch. By twisting the switch's head clockwise or counterclockwise, you can blend the piezo acoustic sound from zero percent acoustic sound (100 percent traditional pickups) to 100 percent acoustic sound (no traditional pickups).

BurstBucker 3.
The BurstBucker 3 arrived on the scene in 1990, and—like the BurstBucker 1 and 2—represents Gibson's drive to capture and recreate the characteristics of the vintage Patent Applied For humbuckers of the late 1950s. On the shop floor of the original Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the earliest Gibson PAF humbuckers were wound using imprecise machines, resulting in pickups with varying degrees of output and tone. The BurstBucker line represents those variations, but with some modern appointments. The BurstBucker 3 provides historically accurate PAF tone with two slightly overwound coils, creating a raw, airy tone packed with enough punch to cut through any mix.

Gibson's P-90H Pickup
The P-90H black soapbar pickup is another example of Gibson's drive to stay one step ahead. This pickup offers all of the soulful, classic tone of Gibson's prized P-90 single-coil pickup, but with none of the 60-cycle hum that usually plagues traditional single-coil pickups. Gibson's pioneering engineers were then able to secure all of the P-90's vintage sonic characteristics, and deliver the same high output and sweet treble response that still makes the P-90 a highly sought-after pickup.

Piezo Bridge Pickup.
The Gibson Dark Fire also features a revolutionary Gibson-designed piezo bridge pickup that actually consists of six individual piezo pickups—one for each saddle/string. These piezo pickups go through a studio-quality active amplifier that allows for a stronger and more natural acoustic guitar sound. Combined, the two classic electromagnetic pickups and the piezo bridge pickup are wired in such a way to allow each individual coil to be used in a switching matrix, giving you over 20 separate combinations of tone and an incredible array of tonal possibilities.

Tone Potentiometer and CPA.
The Dark Fire guitar's tone potentiometer and CPA have also been redesigned so that turning the tone knob allows a very intuitive and significant change in tone, thus giving you even more ability to dial in your desired tone. This pioneering Gibson circuitry is studio quality with very little noise and/or signal loss, which delivers as much of the guitar's authentic tone as possible.

PerfectSetup by PLEK.
Also part of the Dark Fire package is a super fast and comfortable asymmetrical neck design that is rendered to optimum playability with a PerfectSetup by the revolutionary, computer-controlled PLEK system, which has been acknowledged as the most precise guitar set-up technology in the world today.

And, It Gets Better...
Additionally, the Dark Fire features improved locking tuners, a Teflon-based frictionless nut, a bridge that locks to the studs and a chambering system that gives each one near-perfect tone, balance and weight. It also makes the Dark Fire one of the best-sustaining Les Pauls ever produced.

Chameleon Tone Technology.
The original Robot Guitar took the guitar world by storm when it was first introduced in December '07, but the Dark Fire from Gibson is simply the most advanced guitar system ever developed. In fact, many of the technological advances on the Dark Fire were virtually inconceivable just a few years ago; the Powerhead tuners, the tuning brain, the battery function and the sonic capabilities of a fully digital guitar make the Dark Fire electric guitar a virtual upgrade in every respect. Perhaps most impressive is Gibson's Chameleon Tone Technology, which allows you to change your guitar's tone to match countless environments and to recreate any guitar sound you ever lusted after. The Dark Fire is guaranteed to give you a new, stunning level of tonal and functional freedom. Release your creative potential with this exciting Gibson guitar.

Master Control Knob.
The key to controlling the powerful functions of the Dark Fire is the Master Control Knob (MCK), which has been completely redesigned with much improved ergonomics and a sophisticated full color matrix display featuring LEDs and high-tech light pipe technology, all to deliver a more powerful and easier to see visual display under any light condition. In addition to the MCK's top mounted display, LED-lit symbols now adorn its outer edge, which blend with the color of the knob so that they're only visible when lit. The Dark Fire's MCK also controls the ability to change pickups and coils, allowing you the ability to adjust tone and tunings automatically and simultaneously, even several times during the same song.

500 Tunings from a Single Battery Charge.
The Dark Fire's battery system and power circuit have also been significantly improved to last nearly twice as long, even with the guitar's enhanced performance. You can now expect nearly 500 tunings from a single charge. Additionally, you can play the Dark Fire while the battery system is being charged. ALso, there's a 12-volt DC connector for the Robot Interface Pack's power supply, which both powers the RIP itself and recharges the Dark Fire's battery when required.

Let it RIP.
While the heart of the Gibson Dark Fire's abilities lie within the guitar itself, the compact Robot Interface Pack (RIP) interface can connect this versatile guitar to Windows or Mac computers to release Dark Fire's ultimate tonal versatility—live or in the studio. In fact, the RIP lets you realize the full potential of Gibson's Chameleon Tone Technology. RIP connects to your computer with a single FireWire cable: There's no need to open up the computer, and you can easily move RIP from desktop to laptop or any other computer. The computer gives you instant access to countless recording applications and software effects processors, including Ableton Live 7 Gibson Studio Edition and Native Instruments' Guitar Rig 3, both of which come with every Dark Fire guitar. Use these programs to record your latest ideas, access hundreds of different guitar effects and amplifiers, create backing tracks and much more.

2-Tone Sunburst Maple Fretboard Artist Series Eric Johnson Stratocaster Electric Guitar - Used

Condition 1 - Like New (what's this?)
$1671.99

For a guitar this sweet, we could have waited another 10 years!

After years of painstaking research and design, the Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster Electric Guitar has finally arrived. Designed with Eric by Custom Shop guru Michael Frank-Braun, this beauty is based on a '57, and combines the best of vintage design with modern electronics technology.

The '57-style, 2-piece alder body has an ultrathin, Custom Shop-quality nitrocellulose lacquer finish that results in better resonance. Johnson opted for a one-piece, quartersawn maple neck with a 12" radius that's finished with a thin-skinned glossy lacquer and vintage tint. 19 prototype pickups were created before Johnson found the tone he was looking for. The Custom Shop-modified single coils use a new wire material and winding technique for the magnets giving them a unique, Slowhand-approved sound. Johnson and Braun also included one of Eric's most famous Strat modifications by wiring the tone controls to the neck and bridge pickups, instead of the standard neck/middle tone configuration of most Strats.

Ibanez JS2400

Ibanez JS2400 Joe Satriani Signature Electric Guitar White

Joe says the inspiration for the Ibanez JS2400 Joe Satriani Signature electric guitar came from touring the world and seeing so many players using 24-fret guitars; with every manufacturer making one; and with so many records and demos have guitarists playing high up on their 24 fret guitars.A self-proclaimed "vintage guy" Joe Satriani thought it would be "interesting to try to do some crazy things—"play fast things going up and down" on the upper frets of a 24-fret guitar while not having to worry about knocking his knuckles on wood. It's now much easier to hit an E, F# or G with this Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar. The JS2400's Prestige neck has much better clearance, more comfortable, more ergonomic while keeping the basic aesthetic of the JS guitar. The Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar embodies exquisite craftsmanship, being a super-fast and lean tone machine with DiMarzio humbuckers. A Pro Mark single-coil at the guitar's neck produces a throaty Hendrix-like tone while retaining the bit of humbucker. The screamin'-fast JS Prestige maple neck features tall, narrow 6105 frets and tighter radius on a rosewood fretboard. The Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar's precision-sculpted basswood body is light on the shoulder and has great high-fret access while the double-locking Edge tremolo gives you the confidence to bar-up those horse-whinny harmonics and stay in the happy realm of rock solid tuning.DiMarzio Pro Track pickup For most modern guitarists, the neck pickup is very important. Joe didn't want to lose that humbucker tone quality and still get as close to the neck as possible. The DiMarzio Pro Track is specially voiced to give Joe a throaty Hendrix tone with enough tone to take the place of a humbucker—it's very close to a PAF Joe that he uses in the JS1200 Signature guitar.

The Pro Mark balances well with the DiMarzio Mo' Joe humbucker in the bridge position.DiMarzio Mo' Joe humbucker Joe Satriani has used FRED as his main bridge pickup for years. In 2005, Joe asked DiMarzio for a hotter and bigger version to replace the FRED in his Ibanez guitars. The new model called the Mo' Joe is all about tone and definition. Its name says it all. It has more power than FRED but it doesn't sacrifice clarity or dynamics. Additionally, all the harmonics that made FRED so good are all there ready to jump out at the touch of a guitar pick. Having more output makes the Mo' Joe a perfect match for the Pro Mark in the neck position. The combination delivers great versatility and control from rhythms to solos.

For an expanded tonal palette the Ibanez JS2400 electric guitar includes a push-pull hi-pass filter on the volume control to emphasize screaming high frequencies while the tone control offer coil-spltting for the Mo' Joe humbucker.

Blackstar Venue Series HT Club 40 40W Tube Guitar Combo Amp Black

Blackstar Venue Series HT Club 40 40W Tube Guitar Combo Amp Black

Equipped with 2 channels and 4 modes the Blackstar HT Club 40 is an ideal gigging tube amp for club-sized venues. The 40W EL34-driven power amplifier has amazing punch and dynamics that will easily cut through in a full band situation. Switching to the amazing overdrive channel—equipped with ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)—accesses 2 more modes: 'classic crunch' and 'super saturated lead.'The Clean Channel on the Blackstar Venue tube amp has 2 modes, 'boutique' and 'modern' and its own Tone control provides a wide range of clean tones. The Voice switch reconfigures both the preamplifier voicing and gain structure, and the power amplifier damping, to reproduce either ringing Class A Performance in the 'boutique' mode, or very clean and tight Class AB tones in the 'modern' setting. The Overdrive Channel has its own EQ section and a Voice switch that allows the character of the channel to be changed, providing a wide variety of overdriven tones. The channel is characterized by a tone that's high in gain, but lacks any of the detached top-end 'fizz' often found in similar designs.

Egnater Tweaker 15W Tube Guitar Amp Head Black/Beige

The Tweaker 15W tube guitar amp head is an ultracompact and amazingly versatile all-tube amp that offers a unique and sophisticated tone with seemingly endless tonal variations via the onboard "Tweaker" selector switches. Powered by a pair of 6V6 power tubes, the Tweaker is a perfect choice for gigging micro amps. The gain, EQ, and master sections each have a Tweaker switch providing a wide range of tones from the ultra smooth and satisfying to fully over-saturated lead tones.Hidden inside the Tweaker is a vast array of tones not usually found in amps with such a compact design. Each of the 5 toggle switches on the front changes the character of the amp. The Tight and Bright switches shape the low and high end from soft and smooth to punchy and aggressive. The Gain switch goes from sparkly clean to an all-out high-gain assault. The EQ switch lets you select from pristine American to classic Brit and even the illusive VX AC sound. The Classic/Modern voicing switch allows you to select either soft and smooth or hard and edgy power tube tone. It's all in there to satisfy the ultimate "Tweaker."

BBE Sonic Stomp Pedal

BBE Sonic Stomp Sonic Maximizer Guitar Effects Pedal

The BBE Sonic Stomp Pedal will make guitarists and bassists rejoice! More fullness, more presence, more clarity, and more control right at your feet. Hardwire bypass, nonslip rubber bottom, easy-access 9V battery compartment, and included external power supply. The BBE Process-"What it Is"Loudspeakers have difficulty working with the electronic signals supplied by an amplifier. These difficulties cause such major phase and amplitude distortion that the sound reproduced by the speaker differs significantly from the sound produced by the original source. In the past, these problems proved unsolvable and were thus relegated to a position of secondary importance in audio system design.
