Gibson 2011 SG Standard

Gibson 2011 SG Standard Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst

The SG Standard is an iconic design that is so good, so right, so rock-n-roll that it (temporarily) obsoleted the Les Paul model- 50 years ago. The warm tone of all-mahogany neck and body is punctuated by a Baked Maple fingerboard for improved articulation and a smooth, fast feel. Although it looks like a medium-brown rosewood, it sounds more like ebony. Alnico II humbuckers deliver classic Gibson tone.

Baked Maple:
Aging maple through a “baking” process called torrefaction. The wood is kept at 200-300º F for a period of time until the wood knows it’s no longer a tree; Moisture is restored under pressure. This makes the wood very hard, sonically “live” and extremely stable. The snappy sound of ebony, with the look of medium-brown pau ferro. Many boutique manufacturers are now using this because it improves the wood with no chemical treatment, it’s environmentally friendly and is great for making better sounding and playing guitars!

Fender Modern Player Marauder

Fender Modern Player Marauder Electric Guitar Lake Placid Blue Rosewood Fretboard

Fender Modern Player Marauder Electric Guitar Lake Placid Blue Rosewood Fretboard

The Fender Modern Player Marauder—throughout its history, Fender® has always made a special point of welcoming new players to the family by offering entry-level instruments of remarkable style and substance (such as the Duo-Sonic™, Mustang® and Musicmaster® models), with great sound, classic looks, solid performance and eminent affordability. The Modern Player series continues that great my-first-Fender tradition, with thoroughly modern features and several distinctively unconventional new takes on our most revered instruments-all with outstandingly attainable value.

In addition to heralding the return of a fabled and seldom-heard Fender name from the 1960s, the Modern Player Marauder is one of the most distinctive new guitars in the family, uniquely marked by a new body style, Modern Player Jazzmaster® neck pickup and volcanic-sounding three-coil Fender Triplebucker bridge pickup. Other features include a koto body, C-shaped maple neck, rosewood fretboard with 22 jumbo frets, five-way pickup switching with lower horn blade selector switch, four-ply aged white pearloid pickguard, Jazz Bass®-style control knobs, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners and nickel/chrome hardware.

Ibanez FRM100TR Fireman Paul Gilbert

Ibanez FRM100TR Fireman Paul Gilbert Signature Electric Guitar Transparent Red

Ibanez FRM100TR Fireman Paul Gilbert Signature Electric Guitar Transparent Red

Paul Gilbert thrashes and rolls only with the best of instruments, namely his own. His signature models deliver with a rough and tumble combination of shred playability and warm tone just where he wants it. The design of the FRM100TR was inspired by many hours of playing and performance by Paul Gilbert with the original Ibanez Fireman model. The most eye-catching part of the FRM100TR is its unique body shape, featuring a distinctive reverse Iceman body outline. The Fireman's mahogany body balances remarkably well.

FEATURES
Similar to his other signature models, the FRM100TR features a specific layout to keep the volume knob location in Paul's favorite spot. In addition, the guitar features a pickup selector switch and an added tone control for maximum tone shaping.

The neck of Fireman is different than the previous RG shapes in the Paul Gilbert signature series. It's thicker and fatter - 22mm@1st fret and 24mm@12th fret - for a classic feel. The 3 pc mahogany/maple/mahogany neck offers the player a fat and tight sound with a solid grip for comfortable playability which Paul demanded.

The FRM100TR features DiMarzio® pickups favored by Paul. The bridge and neck positions feature DiMarzio® Injectors, while the middle features a DiMarzio® Area '67. They are designed with hum-cancelling construction to eliminate the noise but retain single-coil tone. These pickups have a warm, modern tone compared to vintage single coil pickups, and provide a clear, tight sound. The sound stays true even under high gain settings, so solos can be clearly heard when performing with a group. The classic bright and clean sound is easy to achieve.

The original Ibanez Tight-Tune bridge and tailpiece promote superior transfer of string vibration without unwanted movement.

Fender Custom Shop Bass Heavy Relic

Fender Custom Shop Master Built 1970s Jazz Bass Heavy Relic Black over Candy Apple Red

Fender Custom Shop Master Built 1970s Jazz Bass Heavy Relic Black over Candy Apple Red

The Fender Jazz Bass (or J Bass) was the second bass guitar created by Leo Fender. The bass is distinct from the Precision Bass in that its tone is brighter and richer in the midrange with less emphasis on the fundamental harmonic. Because of this, many bass players who want to be more "forward" in the mix prefer the Fender Jazz Bass.

First introduced in 1960, the Jazz Bass featured a redesigned neck—narrower and more rounded than that of the Precision Bass. The Fender Jazz Bass has two single coil pickups with two pole pieces per string. This gave the bass a stronger treble sound for a "bright" sound.

This Master Built 1970s Jazz Bass has a relic finish with vintage electronics and other desirable features. The thin lacquer finish gives the Fender bass a worn, and rugged look, while exposing the bottom colors. It shows heavy arm and edge wear, as well as scrapes and dings. The body is composed of a 2-piece ash construction, with a 3-bolt neck design. The vintage chrome plating also has the relic treatment, still giving it shine, but worn to look like it has been on the road for years. The chrome bridge, bone nut, medium jumbo frets, and custom Madagascar rosewood fretboard offers lasting sustain and unparalleled clarity. The Fender J bass U-neck shape and 9.5" radius offers comfort when dancing across the fretboard, and the nickel tuners keep the bass in key. Other appointments include block inlays, standard chrome bridge, white pearl pickguard, and Relic J-Bass bridge and neck pickups. Dressed in a vintage thin lacquer finish, the electric bass guitar's covering will get better with age.

DV Mark Triple 6 120W Tube Guitar Amp Head

DV Mark Triple 6 120W Tube Guitar Amp Head

DV Mark Triple 6 120W Tube Guitar Amp Head

f DV Mark's Bad Boy 120 amp head is bad, the Triple 6 is pure evil! When you turn this head on, be prepared to hear sounds that could only come from a dark and nasty place! The amp's front panel and black knobs also provide evidence of its irreverent nature and temperament.

The Triple 6 is modelled after the Bad Boy 120, a three-channel, all-tube head rated at 120 watts, with three separate and unique preamplifiers in one chassis. But although the controls looks identical to the Bad Boy 120, the Gain and tone controls for channels 2 and 3 on this amp are much more aggressive...earning the amp its “666” name!

The Loop Assign rotary control on the rear panel allows you to choose which channel the effects loop is assigned to. You can also apply the effects to all channels, or remove them from the signal path altogether. And with the effect level and mix controls, you can balance your sound with any type of effect pedals or signal processors. The Pedal Controller automatically memorizes the configurations you choose and stores them in memory until the next power-on, making it a very smart and useful controller for this demonic amp.
