Epiphone Ltd Ed 50th Anniversary 1961 Casino TDV Tremotone Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst

Epiphone Ltd Ed 50th Anniversary 1961 Casino TDV Tremotone Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst

Epiphone brings back the first Casino in celebration of it's 50th anniversary - the Limited Edition 50th Anniversary 1961 Casino TDV with Tremotone vibrato. The new 1961 Anniversary Casino has many features that were discontinued after the first year of production. The result is a classic thatwill be both familiar and totally new even to Casino lovers like Paul McCartney, Paul Weller, Liam Gallagher and Keith Richards. Classic Vintage Styling and Unique Features Introduced in 1961, the original Casino had unique features that ultimately were never offered beyond that first year. These include the pre-Gibson era triangle metal logo badge on the headstock, dot fingerboard inlays, a blank two-ply bullet trussrod cover, a tortoise-colored pickguard with foil "E", and black dog-ear P-90 pickups. Epiphone has faithfully reproduced these features for a one-of-a-kind retro look not found on Casinos produced after 1961. Other attention to detail includes the correct "burst" patterns on front and back, a neck joint at the 16th fret (instead of the 17th), Wilkinson™ vintage-style tuners with small plastic buttons, and the historically accurate rectangle "blue label" inside the sound hole.

Martin Grand J-28LSE Baritone Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

The Martin Grand J-28LSE Baritone Acoustic-Electric Guitar with its "Grand Jumbo Baritone" tone, playability and power is designed for lower tuning but can also be played in standard tunings. As one of the largest Martins ever, it has a scale length of 27.5", 17" wide lower bout, long neck (21 total frets with 15 clear) and deep body. It boasts a back and sides crafted of East Indian rosewood joined with a scallop-braced Sitka top. A mahogany neck features the classic diamond volute and square tapered headstock, with a fingerboard and bridge crafted of African black ebony. D-TAR wave-length multi-source pickup system Pioneer and longtime leader in acoustic guitar building, C.F. Martin has selected the D-TAR Wave-Length™ Multi-Source™ combination pickup and microphone system to include in their top-of-the-line acoustic-electric models. These finely crafted instruments truly show off the features and outstanding tonal qualities that D-TAR delivers, as well as the best characteristics that Martin guitars offer. The D-TAR Multi-Source combines the Wave-Length piezoelectric under-saddle pickup with a miniature condenser microphone that is nestled in a special absorptive visco-elastic polymer shock mount for optimal isolation. With separate signal sources coming from two different tonal points inside the guitar, and two low-profile knobs for master volume and microphone volume to control the blend of the piezoelectric pickup and microphone, the player has more flexibility to bring out the most natural sound possible from an acoustic guitar when amplifying it. Additionally, output can be wired in mono or stereo to further expand on the tonal possibilities when using two signals. The Wave-Length piezoelectric pickup is powered by an 18-volt preamp that operates via two AA batteries. Compared to a more common 9-volt system, 18 volts allows far more headroom, resulting in increased clarity and less distortion when the strings are hit hard.

Paul Reed Smith 50W 2 Channel

Paul Reed Smith 50W 2 Channel "H" Tube Guitar Amp Head Stealth

Handmade in Stevensville, Maryland, the PRS 2 Channel "H" guitar amplifier is setup with independent master volume, treble, mid, bass, and gain controls with global reverb. The unique lead channel offers powerful, smooth distortion with liquid sustain, while the clean channel has shimmering, clean highs and extensive headroom but can be overdriven at maximum settings. An effects loop with adjustable send and return is also featured on this fixed bias amp. The "H's" two 6L6 power tubes produce a fast, articulate amplifier well-suited for today's modern music where alternate tunings are a must."These amps are an exciting foray into newer design, tone, and feature territories. My love for single channel amps guided this project from start to finish as I wanted to avoid some of the inherent compromises associated with some switchers. I worked hard on allowing each channel to stand on its own short of building two separate amps in one box and kept it as simple and intuitive to use as possible. I personally find it very addictive and great fun to play." — Doug Sewell, PRS Amp Designer.

Gibson Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar Gold Top / Black Back & Sides

Gibson Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar Gold Top / Black Back & Sides

The Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Studio features a stunning metallic-finish carved maple cap with a mahogany back. The glued, deep-set mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard features a rounded '59 neck profile for guitarists who prefer a chunkier neck, but still enjoy fast, smooth playing action. The BurstBucker 2 and 3 humbuckers have unbalanced pickup windings for the historically-accurate "Patent Applied For" sound with a little extra airy tone. The 'Bucker Type 3 is slighty overwound for more output. A unique fusion of old and new ideas Bonamassa played his first guitar at the age of four. By seven, he had stepped up to a full-scale model and had mastered many of Stevie Ray Vaughan's signature licks. At 10 he was playing regularly around the state of New York, garnering attention of blues legend B.B. King. Two years later, he was opening up for King, and eventually stars such as Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Stephen Stills, Joe Cocker, Gregg Allman, and George Thorogood. Bonamassa has lived up to his potential, continuing to develop his own style as one of contemporary music's most profoundly gifted guitar players.

Ibanez AC240 Artwood

Ibanez AC240 Artwood Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar NATURAL OPEN PORE<

Ibanez AC240 Artwood Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar NATURAL OPEN PORE

The Artwood series was crafted to produce a traditional as well as a modern guitar. Technology moves forward at a frantic pace and the world of guitar craftsmanship is no different. In producing the AC240 Artwood Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar, Ibanez respected the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in their continuing search for the ultimate in guitar tone. This is a descendent of the old orchestral acoustic guitars, instruments designed to be audible over large instrumental ensembles in the days before amplification. The Grand Concert body is made with a wider, 44.5mm neck and shorter 24.9" scale length, to make this ideal for finger picking. You'll get a strong, warm tone from the Solid Mahogany top and Mahogany back and sides, complemented by the warm tone of the Mahogany neck, Rosewood bridge and fretboard. It features a neck shape that provides an easy grip, while chrome Grover Tuners give you better tuning stability, and bone nut and saddle offer enhanced overtones. Other refinements include a headstock where tradition and modern style co-exist.

Paul Reed Smith 2011 305 Electric Guitar Mccarty

Paul Reed Smith 2011 305 Electric Guitar Mccarty Tobacco Sunburst

Paul Reed Smith 2011 305 Electric Guitar Mccarty Tobacco Sunburst

Based on the PRS 513 model platform, the 305 features 3 proprietary single-coil pickups to give you 5 classic sounds all with a warm, clear bite. The 305 incorporates the classic ingredients of vintage single-coil guitars with improved modern construction that adds increased natural acoustic sustain. 2011 updates for the 305 include a Pattern Regular neck shape and a PRS tremolo with steel components. V12 Finish Finish should enhance the look, sound, and feel of a guitar by accentuating the wood's inherent beauty and feel without hindering its natural resonance. And PRS Guitars' new "V12" finish does just that. Introduced at Experience PRS 2010, "V12" is a very thin, hard, and clear finish that will not crack or react with thinners. After roughly 12 years in development, it is halfway between acrylic and nitro but with a classic feel all its own. "PRS models with this new finish feel like old instruments," said Paul Reed Smith. Pattern Regular Shape Neck shapes have always been a high priority for PRS and a hallmark of PRS quality. A guitar should feel comfortable, like "home," as soon as you pick it up, and the neck is paramount to that connection. The new "Pattern Regular" neck shape is similar to the traditional PRS regular neck found on guitars made in the late 80's at PRS's former Virginia Avenue location. This new neck shape reflects modern tooling and programming that allows PRS to even more preciously shape and consistently reproduce their necks. PRS Tremolo with Steel Components The bridge plays a crucial role in the tone of a guitar by transferring the string's vibrations to the tonewood. When executed well, the bridge will enhance the wood's natural resonance. The PRS Tremolo with steel components offers a clear, expansive tone that sounds especially pleasing in guitars with singlecoil tones.

Martin JSO Sing Out 60th Pete Seeger Acoustic Guitar Natural

Musician's Friend is proud to announce the arrival of two new Custom Artist Edition guitars: the Martin JSO! Sing Out Pete Seeger (6-string) and the Martin J12SO! Sing Out Pete Seeger (12-string see SKU# H71021). The guitars mark the 60th anniversary of Sing Out!, the magazine, songbook publisher and syndicator of traditional music radio shows that Seeger helped found in 1950. To mark this milestone, no more than 120 of these guitars are being built, signed by both Seeger and Martin Chairman and CEO Christian Frederick (Chris) Martin IV. For more than 70 years, Seeger has embraced and championed traditional American music, as a member of the Almanac Singers in the 1940s, the Weavers in the 1950s and recently, as a solo artist. The 6-String JSO! is inspired by Seeger's personal 12-string guitars, the first two of which were custom built by Liverpool luthier and engineer G. Stanley Francis; with later, evolved versions crafted by Connecticut luthier Bruce A. Taylor. The JSO! model has Martin's Grand Jumbo body style, built of solid woods. The top is built of Sitka spruce, East Indian rosewood on the back and sides, a genuine mahogany neck with unadorned black ebony fingerboard, and a polished East Indian rosewood headplate. The headplate includes the familiar gold C. F. Martin & Co. logo, as well as a banjo sketch drawn by Seeger and a replica of his signature inlaid in mother of pearl. The unique and distinctive triangular sound hole is surrounded by a black/white/black/white fine line rosette, and the top of the sound hole is encircled by bold herringbone purfling and grained ivoroid binding. Both models are finished with a polished gloss lacquer finishes, with aging toner on the tops to enhance their vintage style and are protected in Vintage Series Geib-style hardshell cases. Each of the limited edition (120) custom guitars will be numbered in sequence with the edition's total number produced. Since 1950, Sing Out!'s mission has been to preserve and support the cultural diversity and heritage of all traditional and contemporary folk music, and to encourage making folk music a part of our everyday lives.

Paul Reed Smith 2011 Singlecut Hollowbody II Electric Guitar Black Slate

Paul Reed Smith 2011 Singlecut Hollowbody II Electric Guitar Black Slate

The Singlecut Hollowbody II offers brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones with the sleek aesthetic of a single-cutaway body shape. The combination of the maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance. The Singlecut Hollowbody II comes standard with V12 finish, a Pattern neck and 57/08 pickups. The PRS/LR Baggs Piezo System is also standard on this instrument, allowing you to plug into your PA or recording console and your amp at the same time. Pattern Neck Shape Neck shapes have always been a high priority for us and a hallmark of our quality. A guitar should feel comfortable, like "home," as soon as you pick it up, and the neck is paramount to that connection. Perfected after years of prototyping, the new "Pattern" neck is an updated Wide Fat PRS neck style based on Paul's pre-factory design. These necks were found on the instruments built for Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton and Howard Leese from the late 70's to the mid 80's. Whether in woodworking, machining, or cast and die work, pattern making is the art of arriving at a perfect standard which can be duplicated or used to create new designs from by "offsetting." All of our necks came to be as a result of offsetting from this original, Wide Fat design.
