The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece add more sustain and make string changing easier. Here's what Slash told us when we asked him about the Epiphone Slash "Appetite For Destruction" Les Paul: "I always wanted to do an Epiphone [version] as well because Epiphone makes great quality instruments and they're more affordable. It's really phenomenal. You look at the specs, and all of the hardware is basically the same. It gives someone a change to be able to pick up something decent at a more reasonable price. lt's actually sort of like a steal."Act fast, because this guitar is only available in a limited-run.
Part of Charvel's Production-Mod Series, the So-Cal Style 1 HH is jammed-pack with high-performance specs and mods. Gibson Custom Byrdland Florentine Hollow Body Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst Gold Hardware
The Gibson Byrdland Electric Guitar represented a handful of developments that were radical, even revolutionary, in its day. This model recreates the 1960 version that introduced the sharp Florentine cutaway, replacing the rounded Venetian cutaway of the original Byrdland.History Many working musicians of the fast-paced and musically adventurous '50s required a new instrument—one that captured traditional Gibson archtop artistry and craftsmanship, but represented a redrawing of the blueprint for the needs of the day. Enter the Byrdland, released in 1955 after consultation with first-call Nashville session musicians Billy Byrd and Hank Garland. Outwardly every bit a Gibson, the Byrdland retained the traditional carved, solid-spruce arched top and wide dimensions (17") of big-bodied jazzers like its predecessor the L-5CES, but was considerably thinner, at only 2-1/4" deep. The electric guitar was here to stay, and Gibson's designers quite rightly determined that a guitar that was intended primarily as an electric—rather than acoustic—instrument should be made in a way that would minimize feedback.

The Evolution DP158 pickup was designed for Steve Vai and is fat, punchy, and loud. The DiMarzio Evolution DPS1 single-coil has a bright, clean tone. The DiMarzio Evo2 DP512 is tight, aggressive, and even louder. It produces a wide range of overtones. Ibanez's split-5 wiring provides incredible tonal versatility. Controls include a master volume and tone. The acclaimed Edge tremolo features knife-edge-like pivot surfaces for virtually friction free operation. Locking studs contribute to tuning stability. Open Pore Finish
This finish is applied in several layers that allow the open pores of the wood to be felt and to also allow the wood to breathe and vibrate at its best. You can actually feel the wood grain, like it was a raw unfinished piece of wood. The tone of an open pore finish is loud, alive and natural.
Top - Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis)
Sitka Spruce comes from the Pacific northwest and today is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka is a bit stronger and stiffer than other spruces. Its strength and toughness make it well suited for steel string guitars.
Back & Sides - Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis)
Mahogany is softer and lighter than Rosewood. Generally, Mahogany is warmer and has more low end, providing a strong, thumping bass with an emphasis on clear, bright, airy, trebles. It's also used for bracing, binding, end blocks, heel blocks and necks
