Parkwood PW360M Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar Natural

The Parkwood PW360M Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a solid spruce top, and solid back and sides. Braces are hand scalloped and cosmetic appointments are elegant. The PM360M is finished in an ultra thin "open pore" finish that lets the sound come through loud and clear.

Whether you've been playing for years, or are looking to upgrade to your first high quality guitar, Parkwood is your only choice for solid woods, expert build, exceptional playability and real tone at an extraordinary price.

Dreadnought Cutaway

Dreadnought body shape with added cutaway. You get the fullness of the dreadnought body shape with the convenience of the upper cutaway. For the player that uses the entire fret board, the upper cutaway offers access to the highest frets normally un reachable on a regular guitar.

Open Pore Finish

This finish is applied in several layers that allow the open pores of the wood to be felt and to also allow the wood to breathe and vibrate at its best. You can actually feel the wood grain, like it was a raw unfinished piece of wood. The tone of an open pore finish is loud, alive and natural.

Top - Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis)

Sitka Spruce comes from the Pacific northwest and today is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka is a bit stronger and stiffer than other spruces. Its strength and toughness make it well suited for steel string guitars.

Back & Sides - Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis)

Mahogany is softer and lighter than Rosewood. Generally, Mahogany is warmer and has more low end, providing a strong, thumping bass with an emphasis on clear, bright, airy, trebles. It's also used for bracing, binding, end blocks, heel blocks and necks

Fishman Premium SOB

Fishman's latest addition to the Prefix Series includes many features from their Stereo Blender, including an onboard chromatic tuner, internal microphone, and a streamined new look. This updated preamp offers stereo or mono signal paths and a new low-noise circuit for the system's undersaddle pickup and internal microphone. The key improvement to this unit is the addition of a mono/stereo switch, which allows the player to choose between a single blended signal or splitting the onboard microphone and under-saddle signal. Shelving bass and treble, plus a semi-parametric "Contour" EQ is included to shape the guitar's tone. To complete the package, a phase switch and a redesigned notch filter (with more transparency) are included for fighting feedback.
