The Red Chord is a grind-hardcore band from the north shore area of Massachusetts. Their goal is to push the extremes of aggressive music and to combine the best aspects of hardcore, death, grind, and metal. This Traben signature bass is similar in shape to the rest of the Chaos series basses, but is made of solid basswood with a spalted maple, green burl top. The main body has the darker tone. Along the center where the dual Rockfield humbuckers and black Chaos internal bridge reside, the wood has a lighter tone. This gives the bass a nice contrast, and an almost snakeskin look.
