Traben Greg Weeks Signature Bass
The Traben Greg Weeks Signature bass helps you to bring the thunder and tear the room asunder.Holding down the low end for Metal Blade Records recording artists, The Red Chord, bassist Greg Weeks can be seen and heard hammering away on his Signature Traben Bass. The Red Chord is a grind-hardcore band from the north shore area of Massachusetts. Their goal is to push the extremes of aggressive music and to combine the best aspects of hardcore, death, grind, and metal. This Traben signature bass is similar in shape to the rest of the Chaos series basses, but is made of solid basswood with a spalted maple, green burl top. The main body has the darker tone. Along the center where the dual Rockfield humbuckers and black Chaos internal bridge reside, the wood has a lighter tone. This gives the bass a nice contrast, and an almost snakeskin look. Giving you the opportunity to rip fat, heavy riffs like the man behind the name of this signature bass are 2 Rockfield humbuckers, an Aguilar OBP-3 pre-amp, and a 3-band EQ with 3-way switch and mini toggle for coil tapping.
