The Voyage-Air TelAir VET-1 electric guitar has vibe and tone that harkens back to the single-coil solid body guitars of the 50's - the instruments that paved the rock revolution.Included are two custom ToneRider single-coil pickups that are specially designed for their positions in the new TelAir. These Alnico-V pickups build on the acclaimed tone of vintage guitars from the early Rock era, while adding rich harmonics that come from design that is specific to the TelAir.There's lots more that will make this a landmark guitar. The body is solid Alder, and the neck is solid select Canadian Maple that's topped with a solid Rosewood fingerboard. It also has Mother of Pearl position marker dots. The Volume and Tone controls are unique to the Voyage-Air TelAir, and are a special concentric design: Volume is the larger at the bottom, and Tone is smaller on the top. A traditional three-position toggle switch is located where you'd expect to make fast changes while on stage.Finished in a high-gloss Jet Black finish, the TelAir has a Vintage Green pickguard that reinforces the vintage roots of this instrument. Scale Length is 24 3/4", making this guitar easy to play.The revolutionary design makes traveling with a guitar a breeze. Simply loosen the strap button and easily fold the guitar in half for easy storage inside the custom backpack carrying case. When you're ready to play it, unfold-tighten the bolt and it's nearly in tune!The specially-designed DuraTrans case is included, which has a storage pocket, and concealed backpack straps.
