Gibson Anniversary Flood Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar Blue Swirl
The traditional Les Paul mahogany body/maple top is graced with a distinctive swirl finish produced in a limited run. When the Gibson factory flooded, 55-gallon drums of lacquer spilled. After the waters receded, these swirl patterns were on the floor. Gibson chose to leave the remains of the spill on the floor as a reminder of the horrific disaster and subsequent recovery. The mahogany neck has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard while a 490R neck humbucker and 498T bridge humbucker harness the resonant power of the time-tested selection of tonewoods.
