Named after its versatile pickup configuration (3 pickups paired with a 5-way blade switch), the NF3 utilizes the modern pickup technology of PRS Narrowfield pickups. Narrowfields use the same wire as PRS' coveted 57/08 pickups, but are narrower pole to pole and deeper front to back. The result is a new-sounding pickup system with exceptional clarity. After roughly 12 years in development, it is halfway between acrylic and nitro but with a classic feel all its own.
