Taylor Baritone 8-String

Taylor Baritone 8-String Grand Symphony (GS) Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Taylor Baritone 8-String Grand Symphony (GS) Acoustic-Electric Guitar

A truly unique voice, the 8-string baritone GS complements the baritone s lower tonal range by pairing two octave strings with the third and fourth strings, adding a touch of upper-octave brightness without too much 12-string jangle. The result is a guitar with incredible tonal range, perfect for walking basslines and rich melodies. This Taylor Baritone 8-string acoustic-electric guitar features an Indian rosewood body and Sitka spruce top, abalone soundhole rosette, a tropical American mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, a gloss natural stain finish, abalone dot inlays, an Indian rosewood headstock overlay, an Indian rosewood binding, an ebony bridge, and a bone nut and saddle. It comes with a built-in gold-plated Taylor tuner, and Elixir Baritone strings. A GS Series deluxe hardshell case is also included. Taylor's integrated Expression System electronics were developed through painstaking research and development. The Taylor Expression System uses three distinct body sensors (two on the underside of the soundboard, and one underneath the fretboard) and an advanced preamp to capture the guitars' natural acoustic richness and dynamics in amplified situations. Bass, mid, and treble EQ controls let you dial in the sound you want easily and precisely. Taylor's Indian rosewood acoustic guitar represents classic combinations with nearly universal appeal.
