Alvarez DY91C Yairi Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Cutaway Natural

Handcrafted in a traditional Japanese mountain village workshop under the personal guidance of master luthier Kazuo Yairi, Alvarez Yairi guitars are made with extremely choice tone woods. The exotic laminated side and back woods and fine-grained solid spruce tops are naturally air dried and sculpted with individually hand-shaped bracing and dovetail neck joints. Yairi's brilliant design innovations include an extended neck tenon for a wider range of rod adjustment and no neck/body irregularities. A unique coupled bridge design removes the forward pull from the bridge itself for greater stability and lighter bracing leading to freer tone. This Alvarez Yairi DY91C features jaw-dropping laminated Hawaiian koa back and sides enhanced by abalone diamond inlays on the bound ebony fretboard, abalone rosette and body binding, and gold die-cast tuners. System 600T MK II electronics provide robust and intricate amplified tone.
