The 4W Vox AC4TV8 Guitar Combo Amp is a modern take on a bona fide classic amplifier. The all-tube Vox AC4TV8 practice amp delivers tone In the style of the Vox AC4 amplifier introduced in 1961. You'll notice that Vox even made use of the "TV" style cabinetry design first used on the 1958 Vox AC15 amp. The Vox AC4TV8 amp retains the distinctive EL84 power tube of the original AC4. A 12AX7-powered preamp makes the AC4TV8 amp's sound unmistakably Vox, delivering that distinctively British top-end tone. One of the challenges confronting an all-tube guitar amplifier is retaining a full tone at lower volumes. To solve this, the Vox AC4TV amp has a built-in power attenuator, with 4W, 1W and 1/10W output levels—ensuring you never lose that classic tube tone, even at the lowest listening levels.
