2006 marks the 40th Anniversary for Ovation Guitars. To celebrate this event, we have taken a two-fold approach. First, there is the re-issue of 4 models from our historic past. The 1618, 1627, K-1111 and K-1114 stay as true to the orginal specifications as possible, while adding in 4 decades of wisdom and experience of our USA craftsman. Secondly, the 2006-FKOA Collector's Edition combines the ground breaking VIP-5 Preamp System and the Deep Contour body, leading to a cutting edge visual and acoustic delight.
