Great guitar, great price! The Avalon Silver series guitars are exceptionally built, exquisitely finished acoustic guitars at a fraction of the cost of the European made Avalon's. The Silver series encompasses all of the great features of the upper end Avalon guitars (genuine wood binding, dovetail neck to body joint, hand finished soundboard, mother of pearl inlays, solid spruce top, one-piece mahogany neck, etc...), but are priced within the reach of most working musicians. The DS 100 is a Dreadnought-sized guitar with a sitka spruce top, and mahogany back and sides.
