The Ibanez S2009SC is loaded with a combination of a True-Duo Blast 2 (TDB2) pickup in the bridge and a True-Duo Blast 1 (TDB1) pickup in the neck position. These pickups have Ceramic/Alnico magnets and the same True-Duo construction as Ibanez True-Duo Bucker, but the wiring enables True-Duo function as a pair, bridge and neck. A Short Tracer pickup in the middle position has a strong Neodymium magnet for full output in low profile settings. The push/pull volume knob selects between humbucker/single-coil/humbucker or triple single pickup modes. The cutting edge Ibanez SynchroniZR bridge system stabilizes the bridge and insures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the center or zero point).
