A solid carved spruce top with mahogany neck, back, and rims on this angelic Gibson Custom Shop 12-String ES-446 Plaintop semi-hollow is phenomenally resonant. That resonance translates beautifully through the '57 Classic humbuckers. This guitar's strongest feature may be the astounding deep red metal-flake finish on the top with natural mahogany trans finish on the back. Nickel hardware, including a unique trapeze tailpiece, combines with the bound ebony fretboard, triple top binding, and white 3-layer pickguard for a staggering visage. Fast, thin neck and tight pairs make it play like a six string.
