Gibson Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster

Gibson Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster Acoustic-Electric Guitar Antique Natural

Gibson Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster Acoustic-Electric Guitar Antique Natural

The Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster Acoustic Guitar has a classic Gibson L-00 body and custom herringbone top trim, recalling the instruments played by some of the first blues artists in the Deep South of the United States. The custom neck shape and wider nut width give the Bluesmaster guitar easy playability. Tonal enhancements are created by a customized thinner top made of Adirondack red spruce for singing tone and sustain.

The Keb' Mo' acoustic guitar's carved French heel neck shape means easy finger reaching up the neck for those high notes and vibrato.

The 12th fret is joined to the guitar body for a warmer resonant tone and added playing comfort.

Gibson gives the Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster guitar a special darker vintage antiquing of its authentic nitro-lacquer finish. Other embellishments include a
Keb' Mo' Signature truss cover and L.R. Baggs Element pickup with soundhole volume control.

Each of the 300 Limited Edition guitars will bear an inside label signed by Keb' Mo' himself

Gibson Western Classic 3-Piece Back and Crown Inlay Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst

The Gibson Western Classic Acoustic Guitar offers just about every luxurious touch Gibson's luthiers could think of. The Western Classic captures the guitar's vintage feel perfectly. The exotic woods—including a premium solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, eastern curly maple neck, and ebony fretboard—are just the ground work. On top is built one of the most brilliantly ornamented Gibson guitars ever with 5-ply top and back binding, multi-ply fingerboard binding with birdsbeak, moustache bridge, mother-of-pearl graduated crown fretboard and bridge inlays, gold Waverly tuners, multi-layer turtle pickguard, 3-rope marquetry, and nostalgic torch headstock inlay. Gibson builds fewer than 30 Western Classic Prewar 200 guitars each year.

Gibson Custom 1955 Les Paul Historic Wraptail

Gibson Custom 1955 Les Paul Historic Wraptail Electric Guitar Heritage Cherry Sunburst

Gibson Custom 1955 Les Paul Historic Wraptail Electric Guitar Heritage Cherry Sunburst

In the mid-50s, a sunburst finish was not an available option on a Les Paul. In 1958, Goldtops were phased out and a cherry sunburst became the standard finish. Sunburst finishes became all the rage with some really popular artists such as Clapton and Bloomfield using late 50s 'Bursts. The single-cut Gibson Les Paul electric guitars were discontinued in '60-'61 and were not reintroduced for several years. Many players started stripping the gold off the top of their early-mid 50s Les Paul guitars and would have them refinished to emulate the desirable sunburst Les Pauls. The Gibson Custom Refin Hot-Mod features a beautiful sunburst top and even has an offset center seam to emulate the originals.

The hot-mod angle on the Gibson Custom Refin Hot-Mod 1955 Les Paul electric guitar is based on the idea of a 1955 Les Paul that was later modified with humbucker pickups (introduced by Gibson in 1957). The classic combination of the mapled-topped mahogany body with wraptail bridge and humbuckers delivers a glorious monster tone that introduces a comfortable and

resonant neck profile.

BurstBucker humbuckers
The BurstBucker 1 neck humbucker replicates the sounds from Gibson's original "Patent Applied For" pickups, are slightly underwound, with medium "vintage" output. The BurstBucker 2 is a humbucking pickup wound in the range of Gibson's '57 Classic for replica sound. Unpolished magnets and non-potted coils, just like the original. Slightly hotter than the BurstBucker 1, the 2 works well in the bridge position with a BurstBucker 1 pickup in the neck position.

TonePros "Wraptail" Bridge/Tailpiece
The TonePros "Wraptail" vintage-style one-piece wraparound bridge/tailpiece has locking steel studs mounted into long steel anchors for superior tone transference. A classic piece of hardware, the wraparound bridge/tailpiece on the '55 Les Paul Guitar offers a simplicity and functionality that is hard to match. It provides a firm seating for the strings, allowing the player to adjust intonation and string height as needed. This yields an incredible union between the strings and body, resulting in excellent tone and sustain.

Soft Shoulder '55 Neck Profile
The Soft Shoulder '55 neck profile makes the Gibson Les Paul Refin Hot-Mod sit in your hand like no other guitar neck. Gibson's guitar team chose a '55 Les Paul that had a neck with a "magical feel" to serve as a model for the Soft Shoulder '55 neck. The depth is the same from the top of the fretboard to the back of the neck as the rounded '50s neck, yet has gently sloping sides that sit comfortably in your hand.

Year of 1955 Innovation
1955 was a year of great innovation in all areas of American life. 1955 saw the dawn of the United States space program. The first of the classic V8
Chevrolets hit dealerships all over the country, reflecti

Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Historic Reissue VOS

Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Historic Reissue VOS Electric Guitar Extra Faded Cherry

Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Historic Reissue VOS Electric Guitar Extra Faded Cherry

This Gibson 1959 Les Paul Historic Reissue VOS Electric Guitar is unique because of its special Extra Faded Cherry finish. Only 25 are built for the entire world.

In 1959, the Les Paul Standard made a change to wider, fatter jumbo frets which made it a more facile guitar. The significance of this change wouldn't be felt until the late '60s when Clapton, Bloomfield, Peter Green, and other emerging guitarists discovered its warm, thick BurstBucker voice and fast, smooth and easy-playing neck. Then the Les Paul began its ascent toward ultimate icon status.

Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Series instruments, the 1959 Les Paul Historic Reissue is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop. The construction, neck profile, hardware, and electronics are period accurate, and a special nitrocellulose finish treatment gives it the patina of a gently aged vintage guitar. Includes Gibson Custom Shop case and a certificate of authenticity.
