Blackstar HT Series HT-110 40W 1x10 Guitar Extension Cabinet Black Straight

Blackstar HT Series HT-110 40W 1x10 Guitar Extension Cabinet Black Straight

Mighty tone from a mini half-stack.

This mini half stack from the HT Series pairs the Blackstar HT-5H guitar amp head with the HT-110 speaker cab delivers great tone during practice or studio work at any volume level.

The Blackstar HT-5H Guitar Amp Head
The HT-5H tube guitar amp from Blackstar is ideal for studio work or practice, packing all the great tone and innovative features of the award-winning HT tube pedals into a 2-channel, footswitchable tube amp format. The patent-applied-for ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit gives you infinite adjustment over the characteristics of the tone control network and takes your tone from the USA to the UK and any where in between. So now you can effectively design your own tone and finally find "that sound in your head."

In making the Blackstar HT-5H ideally suited to home and studio use, the aim was to develop a tube amp that sounded full in tone even at the lowest volume level. With this in mind Blackstar designed a brand-new tube power amplifier topology. The HT-5H power amplifier is a low-powered, push-pull design that produces the crunch and breakup characteristics of a traditional 100W output but at a much lower volume via its 12BH7 dual-triode in push-pull configuration producing 5 watts output and delivers rich invalve harmonics and compression.

The HT-5H amplifier head also has a fully specified speaker-emulated output, further enhancing its studio credentials and allowing any guitarist to get amazing tube tone straight to tape or disk, or through headphones. It also features the unique 4x12/1x12 voicing switch, allowing you to change the tonal characteristics of the emulated signal between 2 emulated cabinet types.

Add to this an effects loop with switchable level, along with 16-ohm and 8-ohm speaker outputs allowing you to run the amp into an external speaker cabinet of your choice, and you have everything you need for recording or practicing.

The HT-110 Cabinet
The Blackstar HT-110 speaker cabinet packs 40W RMS and a 10" Celestion speaker for superb power delivery, and at under 24 pounds it goes wherever your music takes you.

Egnater Rebel Half-Stack

Egnater Rebel-20 Half Stack

Power and portability come together in this Egnater half-stack.

Now you can get the Egnater Rebel 20 amp head and Rebel 112X cabinet in one hot ultra-portable half-stack.

Rebel 20 Amplifier Head
The Rebel 20 from Egnater is a truly professional amp head with features and sound that are anything but small. Inside you'll find three GrooveTubes 12AX7 preamp tubes, a pair of GrooveTubes EL84 power tubes, and a pair of GrooveTubes 6V6 power tubes. Not only do you get the signature Egnater TIGHT and BRIGHT voicing switches, you also have wide range gain control that lets you go from bluesy clean up to roaring high-gain lead all using a single gain knob.

The Watts control lets you turn the Rebel 20's power from 20 watts to 1 watt for bandstand to bedroom volume. This guitar amp head also includes a professional quality effects loop that doesn't "suck tone." But the coolest feature of the Egnater Rebel 20 is the TUBE MIX control — an Egnater first. With the TUBE MIX knob turned counterclockwise you get the classic American sound of the 6V6 power tubes. Set the Rebel 20's knob full clockwise to experience the more aggressive, British sound of the EL84 tubes. For the first time, you can blend the two types of tubes in any proportion you wish to create a truly signature sound.

Rebel 112X Extension Cabinet
The Egnater Rebel 112X is a 1 x 12" birch speaker cabinet that combines musical prowess and functionality. The closed-back cab is loaded with a custom-voiced Egnater Celestion Elite 80 speaker. The front-ported design provides maximum bass response and sweet singing highs. With a height of just over 15" and width of less than 19", the Rebel 112X speaker cab is compact enough to fit on any size stage and is the perfect complement to the Rebel 20 head.

Gibson Custom Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul Oxblood Aged Signed Electric

Gibson Custom Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul Oxblood Aged Signed Electric Guitar

A rare limited-edition signed, numbered, and played by Jeff Beck himself.

Many great off-the-shelf electric guitars have had their reputations elevated by the legendary artists who have played them. Once in a while, however, a heavily modified instrument is used to make such groundbreaking music that the erstwhile "one-off" becomes iconic in and of itself. The best known and most revered of these is arguably Jeff Beck's Oxblood Les Paul VOS (Vintage Original Spec), a guitar from the heart of tone history. Now, Gibson Custom unveils the most accurate re-creation of the Jeff Beck Oxblood Les Paul ever produced, from its Oxblood finish to the custom-tailored neck profile modeled precisely from Beck's original instrument to the blistering and powerful sounds produced by Gibson's legendary Burstbucker humbucking pickups.

The new Jeff Beck Oxblood is available in very limited numbers. The first 50 of these historic guitars will be carefully aged by the master luthiers at Gibson Custom to look exactly like Beck's original, then personally hand-signed, numbered and played by Beck himself. It includes a specially produced Gibson Custom case with Beck's signature silkscreened on the top, a custom care kit, and a certificate of authenticity.

History
British guitarist Jeff Beck made a big name for himself right from the start. After stepping into very big shoes in The Yardbirds as Eric Clapton's replacement, he left to form The Jeff Beck Group with Ron Wood and Rod Stewart in 1967, all before the age of 25. Moving into the 1970s, Beck began forging his reputation as a solo artist—and one of the hottest guitarists of his generation—with a Gibson Les Paul as his leading instrument of choice. And like so many legendary guitars, the Gibson Les Paul in question made its way into Beck's hands not through an endorsement deal, or a gift from the manufacturer, but through the lucky happenstance of some down-time being killed with a little browsing at a local music shop. While recording in Memphis, Beck paid a visit to the popular Strings and Things guitar store to check out the stock. Beck's attention was immediately drawn to a 1954 Gibson Les Paul (occasionally reported to be an early 1955 model), which was to receive some very specific modifications.

Body
The first request was to replace the guitar's original Goldtop finish with a deep chocolate-brown color that turned out to exhibit some oxblood tints in certain light. Other mods included the installation of full-size humbucking pickups in place of the original P-90s, altering the full and rounded early '50s neck shape to a slightly thinner profile, and swapping the original tuners for modern replacements. Legend has it that the customer didn't like the results… but Jeff Beck did. He purchased the modified Les Paul from Strings and Things and played it extensively on the road and in the studio. It would go on to be etched into the minds of millions as Beck's guitar as seen on his milestone 1975 album, Blow By Blow. A tone legend was born.

The Jeff Beck Les Paul is a detail-precise reissue, from the one-piece light mahogany back to the accurately arched, carved maple top to the light aluminum wrapover bridge to the one-piece Beck-profile mahogany neck with long-tenon neck joint. The instrument exudes the vibe of the original, with a feel, sound, and finish match that pay homage to Beck's original modified Les Paul.

Hardware
Gibson's Burstbucker 2 and Burstbucker 3 (neck and bridge) are among the most accurate vintage "PAF" reproductions that Gibson has ever conceived, right down to the irregular windings from coil to coil and their lack of potting, two ingredients that contribute to an authentic late-'50s and early '60s humbucker tone. This guitar spoke to Jeff Beck throughout the '70s, and it defined his throaty, emotive tone and encouraged his extreme use of sustain and harmonic feedback. Along the way it also helped define the cornerstone sound of the Gibson Les Paul in the hands of a superlative artist.

Nitrocellulose Finish
Applying a nitrocellulose finish is one of the most labor-intensive elements of the guitar-making process. A properly applied nitro finish requires many hours, several evenly applied coats, and an exorbitant amount of drying time. This time-tested method has been employed ever since the first Gibson guitar was swathed with lacquer back in 1894. Why? For starters, a nitro finish dries to a much thinner coat than a polyurethane finish, which means there is less interference with the natural vibration of the instrument, allowing for a purer tone. A nitro finish is also a softer finish, which makes it easily repairable. You can touch up a scratch or ding on a nitro finish, but you can't do the same on a poly finish. In addition, a nitro finish is very porous in nature, and actually gets thinner over time. It does not seal wood in an airtight shell—as a poly finish does—and allows the wood to breathe and age properly.

All VOS (Vintage Original Spec) series guitars use a proprietary process that includes unique steps for staining, wet-sanding, and hand-rubbing; imparting the look of a well cared-for 40-year-old instrument. The result is a remarkable patina that will delight even the most discriminating enthusiast.
