The mahogany body and neck are covered in the familiar blue finish, with the legendary lightning bolts on the top. A Bill Lawrence L500XL pickup in the bridge position and Dean humbucker at the neck take you from screeching metal lead tones to crunchy rhythm sounds with a flick of the 3-way toggle. Pluck a harmonic and use the licensed Floyd Rose tremolo to take it to the outer limits. The ultrafast neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard for high-speed shredding galore. Dimebag traction knobs ensure you'll be able to adjust them no matter how much sweat is pouring. Includes a Dean custom hardshell case.

Featuring the classic carved mahogany top on a solid, non-weight relieved mahogany back with one-piece mahogany neck with long tenon, it generates a warmer, friendlier tone than the standard. A gold Bigsby looks cool and lets you put a little wiggle in your chords. The finish is ebony just like the original and the VOS treatment gently ages it to look like an especially well cared for original.

It has a few small dings, a mildly checked finish, lightly oxidized hardware, and aged plastic parts. The one-piece maple neck has a reverse, late '60s-style large headstock with the word "Proto" stamped on the back and '70s F tuning machines. Features include a matching belly-cut contour on the front of the body, a '70s-style cast bridge with cast saddles, three Custom '69 grey bobbin single-coil pickups, a late '70s-style thin black-and-gold serialized logo decal, and early '80s-style "F"-stamped neck plate with black plastic gasket. The Electro-Harmonix 2880 offers the familiar control setup of a multitrack digital recorder while adding flexible looping capabilities and track manipulation control. Continuous looping, in stereo and mono, can be pitch shifted, reversed and manipulated on four recording tracks. These four tracks can then be moved to two mixdown tracks, freeing them up to be reused. Flexible punch in/out is available on any recording track, allowing the musician to achieve "Looper Perfection" with the 2880.
